VICTORY To Distribute SUMERIAN RECORDS

Washington D.C.-based Sumerian Records has entered into an exclusive, worldwide distribution agreement with Victory Records. Sumerian was founded by booking agent Ash Avildsen who represents ANIMOSITY, CALIBAN, DEAD TO FALL, ED GEIN, INTO THE MOAT, ION DISSONANCE, IGNITE, NAPALM DEATH and VADER, among others.

With a powerful, in-house booking agency for all Sumerian bands, the label expects their full-time touring artists to quickly become serious forces in the music world. "I have toured full-time internationally myself in a band and know first-hand how important it is to have both solid distribution so kids can easily find your album, as well as having a competent and hardworking booking agency representing your band and keeping you on tour playing real shows," says Avildsen.

The first two Sumerian releases will arrive November 14 from Los Angeles band THE FACELESS and Des Moines' TOO PURE TO DIE.
